A tale of undoing, untying, unknotting, loosening, disentangling, untangling, unpicking and unstitching (2020 & 2021)

The series of lens based work plays with Haraway’s concept of tangled threads to create kinships to untangle complex problems and explore the threads and knots of the Anthropocene. Haraway references weaving as a useful and economic practice. But weaving she says is ‘also a cosmological performance, knotting proper relationality and connectedness into the warp and weft of the fabric’ (Haraway, 2016, p91).
