The installation, Fables for a Reconstruction, comprises immersive aesthetic and sensory elements which invite the audience to think about more-than-human connections and interdependencies. The artwork seeks to foster positive engagement through a multidisciplinary sculptural installation, a toolkit and a suite of creative tools. The use of sheep as metaphors in my research has proven to be effective in evoking audience responses and an emotional connection. Speculative fable-making is used in my practice and in the evolution of my practice-based research to engage participants in a playful examination of the Anthropocene and Symbiocene concepts.
